1st Western Regional Networking Conference a Success

25 lymphedema therapists attended the 1st Western Regional Networking Conference held June 8th and 9th at Shell Beach on the central California coast. The conference was organized by Leslyn Keith, OT and Shoosh Crotzer of Enhancement, Inc. The primary sponsor was CircAid® Medical Products, Inc .

The morning was dedicated to round table discussions including compression issues, head and neck edema, difficult cases, insurance reimbursement, and marketing. After a lovely buffet lunch under sunny blue skies and brisk salt air, Guenter Klose of Klose Training and Consulting presented an extensive update on treatment techniques, new treatment modalities, and post treatment compression. Guenter generously donated his time, and everyone was very grateful.

Topics covered by Guenter included cold laser therapy, new pump modalities, and the CircAid® Silhouette™.

Each minute was used to share information and provide practical, take-away solutions to everyday treatment and maintenance issues in an atmosphere of collegiality and friendship.

Enhancement, Inc. is tentatively planning another conference in early 2008 -- location to be determined. Anyone who would like to be placed on the electronic mailing list and/or wishing to express an interest in the next conference location and topics should contact Shoosh Crotzer by email at info@enhancementinc.com.

T-3 M: Staying Power

CircAid® T-3 M™ users report that this compression garment with the Built-in Pressure System (BPS™) really stays in place.

Sliding issues are a thing of the past if you are looking for more stability where traditional compression systems tend to migrate and bunch at the ankles. The BPS™ provides a small amount of resting pressure which helps prevent the legging from shifting and sliding.

Also, the T-3 M™ is excellent therapy for patients that do not have the strength to pull elastic stockings over their ankles and need a prescribed pressure range of 20-30, 30-40, or 40-50 mmHg.

Remember that our T3 Boot™ / T3-EZ Boot™ product lines are still a viable option for patients that do not require a prescribed pressure range and need the ease of a three-band product.

Better and more treatment options for patients gaining a foothold on their independence: We only strive for the best.

The CircAid Legging Appearing in the June 2007 Venous Digest Abstract

We have made headlines again, compliments of the important work done by Juan Leonel Villavicencio, MD with his "Comparison of elastic versus nonelastic compression in bilateral venous ulcers: A randomized trial."

H. A Neumann, MD has narrowed the far-reaching effects of the CircAid legging by explaining the efficacy of the garment. For complete text: call 800/247-2243, email info@circaid.com, or fax your request to 858/576-3555.
